Guion says,  “I am currently a Weather Quintern at WVVA working with the Precision Weather Team. I spend my days learning and assisting with the forecast, updating the website and app weather, and creating graphics to assist with explaining the forecast on air during the newscast. I also have had the opportunity to do a little bit of on air work myself, recording radio hits and weather casts. I am currently filling in for entire shifts on the weekend on both WVVA and CW.

I am learning a lot about what TV meteorologists do to prepare and deliver the newscast as well as all of their duties behind the scenes. The days here and car rides from Blacksburg, VA to Bluefield, WV are long and tiring, but it is definitely worth my time and energy because I am doing everything in order to become the best weatherman I can be and put myself on top when it comes time to look for a job after graduation.”
